There really are quite a few Christmas films out there, aren't there? Over the course of our Christmas Countdown, every now and then, we plan to provide you with our holiday movie check-up. Let's find out which movie has the ultimate Christmas factor and which doesn't. Today's choice is...

Synopsis: Set in pre-Christmas London, this film follows a bunch of loosely connected characters while they struggle with love, loss, heartbreak, sex, success and holiday shopping.

Christmas Factor: 100%
I guess most of us agree that Christmas is a time of sentimental joy, cheesy delight and the fluffiest of fluffinesses. For me, Love Actually definitely unites all those qualities in the most perfect way. It manages to be pure kitsch without ever being annoying. A beautiful setting, lovable characters, heartwarming episodic storytelling, spot-on humour and an aura of teary-eyed, feel-good glee make for entertaining two hours. Grinches might roll their eyes but us Christmas maniacs certainly can appreciate this sugar-coated rom-com. A holiday classic well worth watching.
